Pietro Cerutti 4532f38559 - Fix run-time segmentation fault [1]
- Convert to new LIB_DEPENDS format
- Fix build with clang (no longer depends on GCC)
- Statically link against own library libcommon.a, to avoid
  installing a library with such a generic name as libcommon.so
